Getting Started

Follow the helpful hints as outlined below, in addition to the assembly instructions found in our how-to books, to create the featured scrapbook layouts. If you’ve attended the workshop hosted by your Close To My Heart Consultant, you’ll already have some of the products needed to create the featured layouts. You’ll notice we have used additional products, not included in the workshop, to show the endless possibilities that accessories can create. If you haven’t attended the workshop and would like to create the layouts, contact your Consultant to order the necessary supplies.

Cut the papers in your paper packet as shown below, being sure to label each piece on the back.

Helpful Hints

To create the layouts as shown here, follow the helpful hints as outlined. For more detailed information on how to assemble the featured layouts, refer to our how-to book Cherish™. Your Close To My Heart Consultant can offer more information on the featured scrapbooking techniques.

• Using the swiping technique, apply Dutch Blue ink to some of the paper pieces and to the bases of the Puzzle Junkie layout.
• Assemble the layouts as outlined in Cherish on pages 60 and 112.
• Attach the buttons as desired, using the embroidery floss to fill the buttonholes and to secure the buttons to the page.
• Attach the foam numbers and My Stickease® as desired.
• Using the piercing tools, create small “x” marks near photos and embellishment clusters as desired. Thread the buttonholes with embroidery floss.
• For the Graphic Texture layout, use the piercing tools to create a border around the bases.
